Located in Racine, Wisconsin this park is facing an uphill battle to draw in a significant number of customers. With a fairly decent public park in town and the fact that bikers aren't allowed, it will be a challenge drawing customers from it's two main competitors: Triple R and Four Seasons. Working in it's favor, however, are quite a few unique perks.

The park has a sizeable selection of amusement machines (arcade games,air hockey, pinball, etc.) located in the spectator section for all the kiddies and parents who don't really dig watching little Johnny rip it up while they wait. Birthday specials and private park rentals are also available.

Now for the important stuff. This park was designed by skaters, thus it is a very enjoyable layout and set of ramps for skateboarders. From what I hear, more concessions are to be made for 'bladers soon, but that shouldn't interfere with any skating stuff. A fun design and lots of street-style obstacles make this a particular draw for those who might not normally be as in to parks.

For now, I'll leave the review at that. Check the photos, go to the park, and decide what you think.

UPDATE:

Park is undergoing improvements to the handrails: lowering one and evening out another. Should be finished very soon. The park has also expanded it's space and added some new ramps. Updated pictures will be up soon. 3/07/03
