Mayor Daly's Second Annual Sports Festival has come to a close. Located in the McCormick center on the Southside of Chicago and open for three days starting Dec. 27th and running through Monday the 29th, it featured indoor mini-golf, volleyball, floor hockey, climbing walls, skateboarding and more. Thats right: skateboarding.

I wasn't at the last one but from what I hear there were more than twice as many obstacles to skate this year. I can't really give you much info on where the ramps were brought in from and who helped co-ordinate the event. Bad Boyz Toyz had a truck, RQ boardshop had some banners and Stuck Magazine and Quicksilver sponsored a best trick contest. I have a few overview shots and some shots of the team skating.

Not bad for a free city sponsored event!
